Erath 4th of July Celebration

            Rudy Lange has been named grand marshal of this year’s Fourth of July Celebration.  Lange, a retired Industrial Arts teacher at Erath High School, has been supportive of the Erath Fourth of July Celebration since 1960, having served as chairman of the building committee for many years.

       He and co-workers have built as many as 15 floats per year on flat-bed wagons for the main parade.  He has also helped in building floats for the children’s parade for many years.

       Lange has served as chairman for the float committee as well as serving on various committees such as the booth chairman, booth worker, and helped on the fireworks team.

      He is married to the former Marion Vincent and is the father of three sons, Keith, Errol, and Neal.
